Changelog, Chapter 2 & Gameplay Overhaul - Update
Each version will now contain a walkthrough for secrets to help find secrets that you may have missed in chapters. The walkthrough will be a text file contained in the download folder called "DLA Secrets" when you download each update.
New additions:
- Overhauled an area in eastern-most part of the Goddess Hub world
- It's located above where the ghost smithy is
- This overhauled area contains a shop where you can trade in your crystal shards you can find
- Not all Chapters have Crystal Shards in them yet and as such, not all items are in the shop yet.
- Chapters will have Crystal Shards added to them as I get to reworking and improving them

- The three first things added to this shop is a new area, "Golden Ritual" as well a set of items (4 weapons and an accessory)
- The new area is unlocked when you first give the shopkeeper 1 Crystal shard and will contain a library with lore as well as a training dummy that you can test your team's damage against
- The "Golden Ritual" is an item you gain that you can use in exchange for 500 Gold to improve Alice's stats. This item can be used an infinite amount of times. Numbers are subject to change based on feedback.

Chapter 2 Changes:
- New areas have been added to Chapter 2, as well as a new mechanic!
- The biggest area that has been added is the lower section of the bridge where you head to the Volcanic city (The area below the bridge in a canyon where there are Ogres walking around)
- Older areas have gotten new chests added to them as well
- Crystal Shards have been added to this Chapter now as well
- New Secret areas related to the aforementioned mechanic
- Added a new scene when heading towards the Volcanic city
- This new scene also introduces the player to the aforementioned new mechanic
- Added some notes you can read inside of the inn and the blacksmith in the Volcanic city
- You can now buy Veiled Headgear in the shop in the Desert town
- Chests have been added to the maps in Chapter 2
- This was something that had been a complete oversight when I originally made the chapter
Side Chapter 1 Changes:
- The boss of the Chapter no longer starts with her unique state at the start of the battle
- The boss no longer has a resistance to Dark damage
- The stats of the boss have been lowered slightly
- You can find a light weapon for Lilith in the Castle town now inside of a chest
- Added a message that tells you when you have finished the Side Chapter
- Added a Quest to the side chapter to help guide players through the story
Gameplay Changes:
- When you reach the growth stage where Alice's class upgrades, from now on a new angel enemy will appear in Chapters. This enemy cannot be defeated outside of battle. When you reach the growth stage, you will get a message indicating that angels have appeared
- They will not appear in Chapter 1, however. They will only appear in Chapter 2 onwards
- All allies, except for Lilith, have received at least one new skill and every ally's amount of skills they can equip has been increased by 1 by default to compensate for this.
- The reason why Lilith didn't get any new skills is because I think she's currently in a very good spot and couldn't come up with any skills that would fit her

- "State combos" are a new mechanic that has been added.
- The way it works is that if an enemy gets "Soaked", it can then get "Frozen". After that, it can then be "Thawed" and then finally "Electrified". You can see what skills can inflict what state in their descriptions.
- Removed the elemental resistances of Fire (this includes those who absorbed the element) from most enemies in Chapter 2 aside from the final boss of the Chapter
- This is to make Vidhu feel better to use in the Chapter
- Some enemies such as the Ghosts of the Chapter gained a weakness to Fire as well
- The final boss of the Chapter no longer absorbs Fire damage either and is now only resistant to it

- Added a 'charge' to some bosses' most powerful skills
- This charge is intended to indicate that they will unleash a powerful skill soon. The charge effect also increases the damage they take by 10% while increasing the damage they deal by 20%, making each boss's most powerful skill effectively 20% stronger.
- Added 'meditation' to some bosses as well
- This is a much stronger version of 'charge' which increases the damage they deal by 50%, while still increasing the damage they by 15%
- NOTE: The only Chapter boss aside from the first one that doesn't have a charge mechanic right now is the final boss. The final boss will be getting a more comprehensive overhaul in a future patch.

- Companions now has more than 1 Luck in that stat
- This was an oversight on my part that had led to them not having any Luck until now
- The stats of the Ultimate Armors of each party member has been boosted, but the armors will gain a intermediate upgrade in a future patch
- The way it will work in a future patch is that you repair the armor at the blacksmith and then you need to gain another item to fully upgrade the armor later to get it to the ultimate armor.
- The runes you can find have all been buffed
- The Basic runes now give +8 to the stat they boost (Previously, it was +2)
- The Greater runes now give +15 to the stat they boost (Previously it was +5)
- The Superior runes now give +25 to the stat they boost (Previously it was +10)

- Lilith's stat gain when she finishes the boss of Side Chapter 1 have been increased
- Previously she gained 250 HP & MP as well as +10 to all other stats. She now gains 400 HP & MP while all her other stats increase by 20.
Alice Changes:
- All her elemental skills that are relevant to the new "State combo" mechanic has received the ability to inflict the combos
- The 'Earth Smash' skill that you get from the 'Fist of Nature' weapon can now inflict 'Shatter' on 'Frozen' enemies
- 'Shatter' reduces the enemy's defenses by 50% for 1 turn.
- Alice has gotten a new skill called 'Water Slash'
- This is a single target water skill that deals a small amount of damage inflicts 'Soaked' on an enemy.
- When this skill is upgraded when Alice reaches her upgraded class, it turns into 'Rán's Ocean' which is a Water element skill that deals damage to all enemies and makes them 'Soaked'

Leucosia Changes:
- Overhauled Leucosia to focus more on debuffs with some slight buffs, rather than a pure DPS. Some of her skills have also gained an additional element as well, to make her better for breaking enemies. These changes should hopefully go a long way to make Leucosia feel better to use.
Unupgraded Leucosia's overhaul:
- Her first new overhauled skill is 'Mist'
- Mist deals slight Wind & Water damage to all enemies, while having a 66% chance to blind all of them, which lowers their accuracy and evasion
- Her second new overhauled skill is 'Soaking Waves'
- Soaking Waves deals slight water damage to one enemy and applies the 'Soaked' effect to the enemy. The 'Soaked' effect lowers their attack and agility by 25% and makes the enemy receive 25% more damage from thunder attacks
- She also gains a new skill called 'Siren's Anger'
- This skill is a single-target Thunder element skill that can inflict 'Electrified' on a 'Thawed' enemy.
- Lastly, her 'Icy Seas' skill has been changed to be able to freeze an enemy, stunning them for a turn and, making them take 50% more damage from Fire attacks, if the enemy has the 'Soaked' status effect. The 'Soaked' status effect will be removed in the process.

- 'Icy Seas' has also gained the Water element to it, making it a skill that deals both Water and Ice damage

Upgraded Leucosia's overhaul:
- When upgraded, 'Mist' upgrades to 'Siren's Fog'
- When upgraded, 'Soaking Waves' upgrades to 'Submerging Ocean'
- 'Submerging Ocean' deals water damage to all enemies and inflicts them with 'Soaked'
- 'The Frozen Sea' skill has been updated to also inflict 'Frozen' onto enemies.
- The damage will stay the same.
- Like 'Icy Seas', 'The Frozen Sea' has also gained the Water element to it and now deals both Water and Ice damage
- The damage will stay the same.
- The 'Storm of the Seas' skill has been updated to be able to inflict 'Electrified' on 'Thawed' enemies
- Gains a new skill called 'Veil of Water' which applies the 'Veil of Water' status to all allies.
- 'Veil of Water' reduces Fire Damage taken, while also increasing Magic Defense by 25%
Vidhu Changes:
- Vidhu's Fire Breath and Dragon Breath skills can now apply the 'Thawed' state to 'Frozen' enemies. 'Thawed' reduces the enemy's Defense and Agility by 25% and also makes them take 50% more Thunder element damage.
- Vidhu gained a new skill 'Flap Wings' that does Wind damage to one enemy.
- Vidhu also gains an upgraded version of this skill called 'Wings of Storm' that does Wind damage to all enemies
- By doing secrets in Chapter 2 that have been added with this update, Vidhu can gain a new skill as well.
- This new skill might be changed/nerfed in the future, depending on feedback.
Bugfixes:
- Leucosia should now speak when confronting the boss of Side Chapter 1
- The ship should no longer appear when arriving at the final area in Chapter 3
- Fixed enemies who couldn't be obliterated
- When obliterating an enemy on the map (defeating them without a battle) all party members should now gain JP
- The amount of JP and Gold gained from obliterating has also been made the same across the board since I feel that makes most sense since you do the same with all of them (The amount of Gold and JP you get is now 25 JP and 50 Gold)
- You will be getting more at the start of the game, but you will be getting less later on
- This can potentially revert back to how it used to be, depending on feedback

- Fixed some clipping issues in some maps
- Added a portal that goes to a secret area back into the game (the portal unlocks after completing Chapter 4)
- This portal had been accidentally removed in one of the updates
- The portal's unlock requirements will eventually change once I have finished up some secrets in other Chapters, but for now, all you need to do is complete Chapter 4

- Fixed clipping issues in inside areas of the Chapter 2 city
- Fixed the issues where the blacksmith in the desert town couldn't repair the armors
- When defeating the boss of Side Chapter 1, you should no longer get Leucosia as a companion if you didn't already have her
- Some minor bugs were fixed
